Support for Internally Displaced Persons
Since the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the Angels for Ukraine Charity Foundation has been a beacon of hope for internally displaced persons (IDPs) in the war-torn regions. The foundation’s relentless efforts have provided essential support to thousands of families struggling to access basic necessities. Last week, the distribution of aid was organized for IDPs in Khersonska and Dnipropetrovska oblasts.
Food Parcels Distribution
One of the foundation’s cornerstone initiatives since summer 2023 has been the distribution of food parcels. These parcels contain a variety of non-perishable food items, such as cereals, canned goods, and cooking oil, designed to sustain a family for one to two weeks. During this distribution, we also managed to provide target beneficiaries with fruits and sweets. This initiative has been crucial in ensuring that displaced families receive the nutrition they need during these challenging times.
Hygiene Kits for Health and Dignity
In addition to food support, the foundation has also prioritized the distribution of hygiene kits. These kits include essential items like soap, toothpaste, shampoo, feminine hygiene products, and washing powder. By providing these supplies, the foundation helps prevent the spread of disease and maintains the dignity of those affected by the conflict.
Continued Support
The Angels for Ukraine Charity Foundation remains committed to its mission of delivering humanitarian aid and rebuilding lives. Their work is a testament to the power of collective effort and the unwavering spirit of humanity in the face of adversity. With ongoing support from donors and volunteers, the foundation aims to expand its reach and continue making a difference in the lives of Ukraine’s internally displaced persons.
We thank the All-Ukrainian League of Ukrainian Women for cooperation and the Humanitarian Post of Ukraine for covering the delivery costs for these cargo to destination points.
