Angels for Ukraine is proud to announce a significant leadership transition. After serving as the organization’s second President since 2024, Vladyslav Shelokov has formally handed over his position to Volodymyr Nakonechnyy, who assumes the role of President with immediate effect.

This transition reflects one of the core principles instilled by the founders of Angels for Ukraine: a commitment to renewing leadership approximately every two years, ensuring that the organisation continues to benefit from fresh perspectives, new ideas, and evolving expertise as it grows.

During his tenure, Vladyslav Shelokov guided Angels for Ukraine with dedication and purpose — delivering results that speak for themselves. His presidency saw the organisation reach new heights across fundraising, institutional partnerships, and grassroots presence throughout Ukraine.

Among the most consequential achievements of his term was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Veteran Affairs of Ukraine — a landmark step that formalised Angels for Ukraine’s role as a trusted partner at the national level. Alongside this, the organisation established active cooperation with 72 territorial communities across the country, significantly deepening its grassroots reach and ensuring aid and support could flow to those who need it most. Fundraising results doubled to $207,000 annually, reflecting the growing confidence of donors and partners in the organisation’s work.
