Meeting with leadership of Kyiv city administration
The founders of Angels for Ukraine, Brooks Newmark and Raitis Bullits, met with the First Deputy Chairman of the KMDA, Mykola Povoroznyk, to discuss possible cooperation during the large humanitarian response to Ukraine facing new challenges, such as the attack on energy infrastructure.
The city is ready to cooperate with all organizations that want to help Kyiv residents in the face of Russian aggression. This was emphasized by First Deputy Chairman of the KMDA Mykola Povoroznyk during the meeting in the townhall.
“Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia, various aid to Ukraine, and to Kyiv in particular, has been transferred from all over the civilized world. It is generators, transport, products, and everything that Ukrainians need today. And we are grateful for your help. For being ready to resist the evil that has come into our home in this way. After all, the help and solidarity of the world once again confirms that we are on the right path, the path to our Victory,” said Mykola Povoroznyk.
He noted that during the meeting they discussed possible ways of interaction with the Fund. In particular, cooperation in logistics and provision of bases for repairing cars involved in evacuation. They also discussed the possibility of cooperation in transporting patients if necessary.
“Such meetings are important for the city. We are always open to cooperation,” said Mykola Povoroznyk.
