Burger-Making: entertaining and tasty master class
In a heartwarming display of community support, local fast food YaPoiv and Angels for Ukraine Charity Foundation collaborated to bring a special culinary experience to children from internally displaced families in Zaporizhzhia. The initiative, backed by the Zaporizhzhia district administration and the Novooleksandrivska territorial community, centered around teaching children the art of burger-making.
The master class served multiple purposes beyond just cooking instruction. For children who have faced the challenges of displacement due to the ongoing conflict, the event provided a much-needed respite and an opportunity to engage in a fun, hands-on activity. The choice of burgers as the featured dish proved particularly engaging for the young participants, offering them a chance to learn practical cooking skills while enjoying a favorite food.
The involvement of both YaPoiv and Angels for Ukraine demonstrated the strong partnership between local businesses and humanitarian organizations in supporting displaced communities. The backing of the district administration and the Novooleksandrivska territorial community highlighted the coordinated effort to provide meaningful support to those affected by displacement.
Such initiatives play a crucial role in helping displaced children maintain a sense of normalcy and community despite their circumstances. Beyond the practical skills gained, these events create spaces for children to interact with peers who share similar experiences, fostering a supportive environment.
