Since the russian invasion began in February 2022, millions of Ukrainians have been displaced from their homes and are struggling to access basic necessities like food, water, and hygiene supplies. Angels for Ukraine has been working tirelessly to provide emergency relief to these vulnerable populations.
Food Assistance
Our teams have been distributing emergency food packages containing essentials like grains, canned goods, cooking oil, and other non-perishable food items. These packages provide enough nutrition for a family for 1-2 weeks. So far, we have distributed over 15,000 food packages in hard-hit areas like Kharkiv, Kherson, and the Donbas region.
We are also supporting community kitchens in cities under siege where it is extremely dangerous to travel or shop for food. These kitchens prepare hot meals that volunteers can safely deliver to neighborhoods where residents are unable to leave their homes.
Hygiene Kits
Lack of access to basic hygiene supplies not only impacts quality of life but can lead to serious health issues over time. Our hygiene kits contain soap, toothpaste, feminine products, toilet paper, and other essential items. We have distributed over 10,000 hygiene kits through locally-based Ukrainian organizations we partner with.
