A Warm Gift from an American Friend

Angels for Ukraine is proud to share a story of solidarity, compassion, and meaningful impact. Thanks to the generosity of Paul R. from the United States, our foundation has delivered a new generator to the secondary school in the Kholmynska Community. This is a generous gesture that ensures the school’s boiler house can continue operating even during electricity shortages.

For communities across Ukraine, energy instability remains one of the most difficult challenges of daily life. Schools, in particular, face the dual responsibility of ensuring both education and safety for their students. When blackouts prevent heating systems from functioning, classrooms grow cold, and normal learning becomes nearly impossible.

Understanding this urgent need, Paul reached out with a desire to directly support Ukrainian families and children. His donation enabled the purchase of a dual-fuel generator (capable of running on gasoline and natural gas), powerful enough to keep the school’s heating system running during outages—an essential lifeline during the winter months.

With this generator now in place, the school’s boiler house can operate independently of the power grid, ensuring:

  • Warm and safe classrooms, even during prolonged outages
  • Uninterrupted educational activities
  • Improved comfort and well-being for students and staff

The administration of the Kholmynska Community expressed sincere gratitude for this support. For them, this generator is not just a piece of equipment—it is a symbol of care, hope, and international friendship.

At Angels for Ukraine, we are honored to connect compassionate individuals like Paul with communities in need. Every contribution, no matter the size, has the power to make daily life safer and more dignified for Ukrainians during these challenging times.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Paul for his kindness and trust. His support reminds us that even in the darkest moments, solidarity can light the way.
