Angels for Ukraine received an official Gratitude from the Head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration for its vital contribution to restoring access to safe drinking water in frontline communities of the Mykolaiv region.

The recognition highlights Angels for Ukraine’s role in co-financing the installation of a modern water purification system at the Mykolaiv Oblast Children’s Hospital. This initiative is part of a broader effort to address the severe water supply challenges caused by ongoing hostilities and infrastructure damage in the region.

The new purification system ensures that the hospital’s young patients and medical staff have reliable access to clean, safe water—a critical resource for health and hygiene. Importantly, the system is also accessible to residents living near the hospital, providing a lifeline for local families who have faced prolonged shortages of potable water.

By partnering with local authorities and other stakeholders, Angels for Ukraine demonstrated its commitment to improving living conditions and supporting essential services in areas most affected by the war.
