Access to basic hygiene is more than just a necessity—it’s a matter of dignity, well-being, and self-respect. At Angels for Ukraine, we believe that every individual deserves the right to live with comfort, regardless of their circumstances. That’s why, in response to a confirmed need from Rzhyshchiv Geriatric Boarding House, we are proud to contribute to improving the quality of life for its residents.

The facility is designed to accommodate 252 individuals, yet throughout 2025, an average of 200 residents call it home. As resources become increasingly stretched, the administration reached out for support in securing personal hygiene essentials. Following an assessment of their request and verified underfunding, Angels for Ukraine made the decision to donate 288 liters of shampoo, fully covering the institution’s annual need.

This contribution ensures that residents—many of whom are elderly and require specialized care—will have access to high-quality hygiene products. Cleanliness fosters health, enhances self-esteem, and provides a sense of normalcy, even in the most challenging conditions.
