Clean Water Access for Mykolaiv Medical Facilities
On April 28, 2025, Angels for Ukraine, alongside domestic and international partners, contributed to a significant humanitarian milestone—delivering two ReH2O mobile water purification stations to key medical institutions in Mykolaiv. These stations, now officially transferred to municipal ownership, are ensuring access to safe drinking water for approximately 60,000 individuals, including patients and local residents.
The newly operational stations have been installed at:
- Mykolaiv Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital (Center for Pediatric Rehabilitation and Palliative Care)
- Mykolaiv Regional Oncology Center
This initiative is part of a broader national effort to restore essential infrastructure in frontline regions, with 12 ReH2O stations now functioning across Ukraine—six of them in Mykolaiv. The success of this project is a testament to the strength of international cooperation and shared commitment to humanitarian aid.
Angels for Ukraine with the support of Project Ukraine proudly contributed towards this vital cause, joining esteemed partners in making this initiative possible:
- Ukrainian Future Hilfeverein e.V.
- Canada-Ukraine Foundation & Ukrainian Canadian Congress
- BlueCheck Ukraine
- LifeLine Ukraine Foundation
- GO UkrainA – The Simakovski family (Herman, Olena, and Nicol Bohach)
The handover ceremony in Mykolaiv was attended by delegations from supporting organizations across North America and Europe, representatives of Ukrainian government agencies, and journalists from national and international media. The event gained nationwide attention through official news channels, including Ukraine’s government-backed telethon, reaching audiences across major networks.
At Angels for Ukraine, we remain dedicated to providing relief and rebuilding efforts for those affected by conflict. By working together, we continue to bring hope and progress to communities in need.
Together, we are making a difference. Together, we are bringing victory closer.
