Vehicle for the Kiptivska Village Community

Another Car is Donated to the Community

A significant step toward enhancing healthcare accessibility has been made in the Kiptivska Village Community, Chernihivska Oblast. Thanks to the joint efforts of multiple organizations, a much-needed vehicle has been donated to address transportation challenges in the area. This vital donation is set to transform the delivery of medical and social services across the community.

The newly provided vehicle will serve multiple essential roles within the community’s infrastructure. Primarily, it will enable doctors and medical personnel to efficiently reach patients across 19 remote villages, many of which have been particularly hard hit by the challenges of isolation and limited transportation infrastructure. Elders and families, who often have difficulty accessing healthcare due to these geographical barriers, will now benefit from improved mobility and faster response times. The vehicle keys were officially handed over by Vladyslav Shelokov, President of Angels for Ukraine, symbolizing a commitment to community solidarity.

This joyful moment is another evidence of a lasting and fruitful cooperation between the Foundation “TEV,” the All-Ukrainian League of Ukrainian Women, and the Angels for Ukraine Charity Foundation. Thanks to this collaboration, more and more communities across Ukraine receive much-needed vehicles.

“This car will significantly enhance our ability to deliver regular administrative services to residents in the farthest parts of our community,” stated Volodymyr Kuchma, the Head of the Kipti Village Community. “Our 19 villages have long struggled with long distances that hinder prompt services from the community structures. With this donation, we envision a future where no one is left behind.”

Beyond routine house calls, the vehicle will double as a “social taxi,” providing transportation for the elderly and those who require transportation to the community center. This service is particularly crucial for those without private vehicles or who are unable to navigate public transit due to their health conditions. The donation not only fills an immediate need but also lays the groundwork for ongoing support in areas that have been long underserved.

This generous gift comes at a time when rural logistics remains a pressing issue. The unique challenges of reaching each of the 19 villages have often resulted in delays in hromada structures’ service provision. By directly addressing these logistical hurdles, the donors have underscored that effective services must integrate relevant professionals and technical capabilities.

For the residents of Kiptivska Village Community and its settlements, the donated vehicle is more than just a mode of transportation—it is a beacon of hope and ongoing support in overcoming persistent challenges. This effort by the donors reinforces the belief that improving infrastructure and access is paramount to ensuring a healthier, more resilient future for all community members.
