At Angels for Ukraine, we believe in the power of unity and compassion. Recently, we had the privilege of supporting a truly special initiative—an unforgettable trip for a group of Ukrainian children and their mothers to Spain. This journey was more than just an escape from the hardships of war. It was a chance for these young hearts to experience joy, hope, and solidarity.

The main event of the trip

The highlight of their adventure was attending the UEFA Nations League 2024–2025 match between Ukraine and Belgium! It was a thrilling spectacle that filled the children with excitement and national pride. Beyond the stadium, the group explored the vibrant cities of Barcelona and Alicante, where they engaged in cultural excursions. Children met with members of the Ukrainian diaspora and connected with representatives from the Ukrainian Consulate.

This initiative was made possible through the collective efforts of several organizations, working tirelessly to bring smiles to these children’s faces. The Ukrainian Association of Football played a pivotal role in organizing this opportunity. We eagerly anticipate the group’s reunion at the association’s headquarters in April.
