High level meeting in Latvia with vice-speaker

The founder of Angels for Ukraine, Raitis Bullits, met with the Deputy Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Олена Кондратюк, during her visit to Latvia last week.

One of the main topics for discussion was the development of MHPSS programs and projects in Ukraine to support children, adults, and the elderly. Raitis confirmed the foundation’s direction to enhance work in mental health and psychosocial support activities to cover the support of beneficiaries in all regions of Ukraine where the security situation allows it.

Another point for thought exchange was the medical evacuation of wounded soldiers to receive relevant medical services and rehabilitation abroad. Since March 2023, the Angels for Ukraine Charitable Foundation has provided systematic assistance in medical evacuation. We continue implementing this significant project to support demobilized soldiers and civilians during their treatment and rehabilitation abroad.
