Strengthening Local Resilience: We Signed MoU with Chuhuiv City Territorial Community

On a pivotal day in July 2025, the Angels for Ukraine Charity Foundation formalized a strategic partnership with the Chuhuiv City Territorial Community of Kharkivska Oblast through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This collaboration marks a significant step toward rebuilding and revitalizing communities affected by the ongoing consequences of armed aggression against Ukraine.

A Shared Vision for Recovery and Empowerment

The MoU, signed by President Vladyslav Shelokov on behalf of Angels for Ukraine and Chief Galyna Minayeva representing Chuhuiv City Military Administration, reflects a mutual commitment to:

  • Supporting elderly citizens, persons with disabilities, and other vulnerable groups
  • Advancing veteran reintegration and peaceful transition to civilian life
  • Stimulating local entrepreneurship and attracting investment
  • Promoting charitable initiatives and addressing pressing social challenges

This partnership is rooted in shared values of honesty, transparency, mutual respect, and a dedication to real, lasting change.

“Our community is currently facing severe challenges as a result of the ongoing armed aggression − with damaged infrastructure and many residents in urgent need of assistance and support. We are grateful to Angels for Ukraine for their willingness to help address pressing social issues, and we hope that our focused cooperation will deliver meaningful results for the people of our community,” said Head of Chuhuiv Military Administration Galyna Minayeva.

Joint Action for Community Development

Under the agreement, both parties will collaborate on designing and implementing social and charitable projects within the Chuhuiv City Territorial Community. Key areas of cooperation include:

  • Needs assessment and strategic planning
  • Infrastructure restoration and community reintegration
  • Resource mobilization and joint fundraising
  • Hosting thematic events and sharing expertise
  • Transparent communication and public engagement
Looking Ahead

Effective immediately upon signing, the MoU will remain in force until December 31, 2026. Both parties have committed to resolving any challenges through dialogue and consultation, ensuring the partnership remains grounded in trust and shared purpose.

This cooperation exemplifies Angels for Ukraine’s mission to foster resilience, dignity, and hope across Ukraine’s communities. By joining forces with local authorities like the Chuhuiv community, we continue to build bridges of support and solidarity—one project, one partnership, one life at a time.
