Restoring Childhood, Fostering Resilience, Drawing Future
As a new school year begins across Ukraine, it carries with it a quiet determination to reclaim normalcy and hope. For children in war-affected regions like Mykolaiv, the classroom is more than a place of learning—it’s a sanctuary. This fall, Angels for Ukraine is honored to stand with these young students by delivering a simple but powerful tool: the color pencil.

27,000 Tools for Healing and Imagination
Thanks to the incredible generosity of the Swiss company Caran d’Ache, we have successfully delivered 27,000 color pencils to vulnerable children throughout the Mykolaiv region. This donation will equip hundreds of young artists in local workshops and schools, giving them the resources they need not only for their lessons but for their well-being.
In a child’s hand, a pencil is far more than a piece of wood and pigment. It is an instrument of healing, a key to unlocking imagination, and a way to process experiences that words cannot capture. Whether sketching their dreams, coloring safety posters, or simply finding a moment of peaceful focus, each stroke is an act of resilience. These creative activities provide a vital outlet for children to navigate their emotions, build confidence, and rediscover the joy and safety of being a child.

Your Compassion in Action
This delivery represents 27,000 sparks of hope, helping children step into their classrooms with dignity and a renewed sense of possibility. To every donor and volunteer who helps us turn compassion into tangible support: thank you. Together, we are defending childhood and helping build a brighter, more colorful future for Ukraine.
