Angels for Ukraine continues its mission of supporting communities in need. Today, we are proud to share that 50 water filters have been successfully distributed to households in the Shyrokivska Community of Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

With the support of our organization and the dedicated efforts of local community administration and volunteers, families now have access to clean, safe drinking water. In times of hardship, ensuring the health and well-being of communities is more than just aid—it is a commitment to resilience and hope.

Access to drinking water remains a significant challenge in many rural areas of Zaporizhzhia Oblast. Damage to infrastructure caused by ongoing conflict has left more than 105,000 residents, including nearly 10,000 children, facing frequent water shortages. Some communities have gone weeks without water, forcing families to store and ration supplies. Efforts by humanitarian organizations have helped restore water systems and provide emergency relief, but many villages still struggle with unreliable access.

We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone involved in making this initiative a success. Together, we are strengthening communities and fostering a future where basic necessities are no longer a luxury but a right.
