Since the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine began in February 2022, millions of Ukrainian civilians have been forced to flee their homes and cities to escape the brutal violence and bloodshed. Our organization has been on the ground from the start, working around the clock to evacuate as many people as possible out of active war zones.

Through coordination with the Ukrainian government, local authorities and international partners, we have established evacuation corridors and safe routes for civilians, with a priority on relocating women, children, the elderly, and people with disabilities. Our teams provide evacuation transportation and distribute essential humanitarian aid like food, water, and medical supplies.

Operating in active combat areas requires contingencies for blocked roads, impassable terrain, and the ever-present threat of bombing and shelling. Our logistics experts have vast experience planning and executing these high-risk evacuations to get people out safely.

Thanks to the dedication of our team and the generous support of our donors, as of May 2024, we have evacuated over 35,000 Ukrainian civilians from large cities, towns, and other hard-hit areas in the east and south. But as the war rages on, many people remain trapped and in grave danger.

With your generous support, we can continue this life-saving work – sending more evacuation teams, securing more routes, and bringing more innocent families to safety and refuge. The people of Ukraine are resilient, but they desperately need our help.
